Undersea Explorer, Caicos Tours is a marine sightseeing tour operator based at Turtle Cove Marina in Providenciales. Its signature experience is a semi-submarine excursion that lets guests observe coral reefs and marine life from an air-conditioned underwater viewing cabin while staying completely dry, making it a distinctive option for families, non-swimmers, and anyone who prefers not to snorkel or dive. 

The company primarily offers two guided excursions lasting about 50 minutes on the water:

  • Reef Adventure – A sightseeing tour focused on the reefs off Providenciales, where guests may see colorful reef fish, sea turtles, rays, corals, and other marine life.

  • Mermaid Adventure – A family-oriented version of the tour featuring an underwater mermaid performance alongside the reef experience, which is especially popular with children. 

Unlike a typical glass-bottom boat, the vessel is a semi-submarine. Guests descend into an enclosed, climate-controlled cabin positioned about 5 feet (1.5 m) below the water's surface, with large viewing windows on both sides. Each passenger has an individual viewing window while a guide explains the marine life encountered during the trip. The tours generally visit reefs around Smith's Reef and the Turtle Cove area.
